Charles Kelso is a performer, podcaster, puppeteer, writer, and producer from Atlanta, Ga who is best known as the co-founder of the puppetry team, Felt Nerdy. Charles is a lifelong fan of Star Trek and science fiction who began his artistic journey as the writer for the landmark Star Trek: Animated webcomic in the 2000’s before becoming a writer and script editor for the Star Trek fan film group, Potemkin Pictures. Later, he became a host and producer for the Earth Station Trek and Monkeeing Around podcasts on the ESO Network. With Felt Nerdy, Charles has produced and performed shows for audiences of all ages for over a decade. Initially formed in the early 2010’s, Felt Nerdy made a name for themselves providing puppet shows to small, local conventions throughout the Southeast before expanding to burlesque shows, headlining at the Red Light Cafe, and performing multiple yearly shows at Dragon Con.
